This scene shows the moment that Simon jumps, solo, when pushed to freedom by his mother, Chana Kaplan, who is standing in the opening of the sliding door of the freight car of Transport XX — the 20th deportation train heading to Auschwitz on the night of the 19th April 1943 at Cuttecoven (Kuttekoven) in Belgium, some 50 km (30 miles) before the border with Germany .

Portrait pillars of the Monument Foundation (Stiftung Denkmal) participation in the Berlin 2013 theme year ‘Destroyed Diversity’ (Zerstörte Vielfalt) at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial, 7 Sep 2013, Berlin, Germany.

Here the portrait of Werner (1921-1942). Werner from Wedding (Berlin) was in love with his neighbor Dorothea. But he was Jewish. After the passage of the Nuremberg “Racial Laws” in the fall of 1935, relationships between Jews and “Aryans” were strictly forbidden. The two were cautious, but they were betrayed. The accusation: “racial defilement” (Rassenschande)! Werner spent 18 months in the Berlin-Tegel prison, then in “protective custody” in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Today , I finalized the upgrade of the 2019 news video ESPACE Simon GRONOWSKI (Ed. 20190220).
Final corrections with the help of Philippe Renette of the transcription of the soundtrack (French) and the English translation for captions were implemented in the video at YouTube. And the 20190220 posts were updated.

The video was ISAN registered as Miracles Doc #7 .

A new edit of that Miracles Doc #7 is being prepared as the preferred edition for use in the context of a new documentary on the street art mural created by Hyer in that Espace Simon Gronowski at the S2J School Center this year.

Simon Gronowski visiting Liège, Tuesday 19 november 2013 for a series of three testimonies that day at the Saint-Sépulcre school — now the S2J School Center.
Simon is holding the German newspaper Der Welt of Saturday 16th Nov 2013 featuring a portrait of him with Koenraad Tinel by Dieter Telemans in the article ‘Feinde wie wir’ (Enemies like us) by Felix Stephan.

Still of the short film featuring magical moments of that day, entitled Simon Stompin’ at the Saint Sépulcre, at the Miracles site.
Today , I have been working again on that video (produced in 2022), creating a transcription of the soundtrack (French) and an English translation for captions to add in the video.
That video I plan to use , together with the video I worked on yesterday for captions, in the context of a new documentary on the street art mural created by Hyer at the S2J School Center this year.

Propaganda on the windows of the shop ‘Goedkoope Winkel’ (Cheap Shop) at Lange Elisabethstraat 2 in Utrecht, Holland, photographed by Wim Bruschwiler , ca 1943.

Nazi anti-semitic slogan ‘JOOD’ (Jew) on one window.

On the other window, the “V” symbol — standing for the English (Anti-Nazi) “Victory” slogan or the later Nazi edition “Victorie”.

On top of that window on the left a small pamphlet showing O…Z…O – W… – V…V – … … … … .

OZO originally was the anti-Nazi slogan ‘Oranje Zal Overwinnen’ (transl. : Holland Will Win). Here probably the Nazi version of OZO was posted (compare image in Notes 1) :

Orde Zal Overwinnen – Want – V=Victorie – Duitschland Wint Voor Europa! .

Translation :
Order Will Win – Because – V=Victory – Germany Wins For Europe!
